What Do You Call The Moldings On Walls

saaataaan @ 2006-08-27T14: 30:00

So!
Last week Saturday we were on the 2nd Retro Bochum market for classic video games. Which was organized last year for the first time in the EuroCon, a fair for the hardcore retro gamers. This year it was repeated because of the good resonance.
We were there and of course zugschlagen gesabbert and the rest of the time and amazed and talk with the people there. So that was a stock market for video games. From the Commodore 64, Atari, Vectrex on NES, SNES, Mega Drive, Master System to more recent stuff like PSX, Saturn, Dreamcast, and matters very little as the latest Gamecube and PS2. But above all things retro-dependent. I'm as Mega Man 1 (!) NES, unfortunately only module, for a paltry 7, - € (!!!) bought! And some other stuff, 2 master system games (OVP with instructions that have never touched; The Ninja and Heroes of the Lance), a Asciiware Arcade Board for the PSX / 2 for 3, - €, a Japanese Dreamcast controller ( with broken L and R buttons, but I just replace those of an otherwise broken controller) for 0.50 € and so on. If you are interested, visit our on ZockHard.de.vu , I've uploaded photos (in the media section). 3, - € entrance, rolls 1, - €, coffee and waffles with whipped cream in each € 0.50. So absolutely Fanfreundlich. Here also the home of the stock market itself:

I also ne new band. Tuesday was I with our ex-vocalist of Synasthasia with our fellow musicians in Bingen Stefan! There we met for the first time our band mates for our new Band VAN CANTO. Wednesday we will have our first video clip shot! With camera crew (thanks to Alex and Bjorn, both of which were super professional, courteous, knowledgeable and patient), make-up artist (thanks to Julia, who has spotted us after each of at least 30 song runs the sweat from his forehead and has refreshed our makeup) and director (thanks to Rob, who just patiently and peacefully has said what has to run like). It was a great day of shooting! 13 hours and dismantling, approximately 9 hours of shooting (of course with breaks and in between times sift material) and no one was annoyed, was not aggressive, they were all relaxed, good mood and so on. Nothing really went wrong, everything was great! After that we made band photos and that was just cool.
The album will hopefully later this year, the video is now ready to cut, the homepage will be online soon and then we go. I'll keep you informed. :)

Sickel Cell Clinictoronto

Wacken

I finally once again time to write a decent entry. Also indeed have some time. In addition, I have to give an honest report. :)
So here it is.

Wacken this year was again fucking hot! I was there every year since 2000 and have only once made an exception last year, because I think the festival has become too big and too expensive and not enough bands were at the start, I wanted to see. But as this year, Emperor played a reunion show, I had gone. Weather report said although the rain and cold, but there were consistently more than 25 degrees during the day and evening containing a little cooler. But no rain. Total geiles festival weather then. : D
Wednesday evening we arrived, after we have actually come through and only exit from "Wacken" to the ground (a distance of more than 3 kilometers) had 2 hour traffic jam. No idea why this little piece so little went forward, but it did not work. No matter, soon built up tent and opened the first beer. The Wednesday evening was also pretty good, I've told everyone at the campsite Hello (we slept in the Wacken forum camp where only members of the Forum hindürfen) and used 1 1 / 2 hours to see my band, who else camped . I was in the truest sense of the word no plan and therefore has little time coming. Anyway, was a successful evening and beer-rich. Hannes
Thursday morning asking me if I want to have a beer for breakfast (uärks) and I refused with thanks to the information that I previously only once but needed a coffee and wants to have breakfast something right. January speak to me, however, that a coffee costs 2.50 (0.3 liters) and a bun 3.50. Usury. So I had breakfast but beer. And the residual level of the previous day I was immediately put back into the party mood, which led me to clock up 13 to be already tight latte. After the Coke man myself then Met betrichterte my memory is the first of times. Until about 21:30 or so. The Scorpions were at least in the background and I was at the Party Stage, because I wanted to meet a friend at the Black Stage ... well, there I then met a guy at the beer stand, celebrated a birthday and we have begun to issue each other beer. There was near a cocktail stand, However, we quickly switched to tequila and caipirinha, which was not a good idea ... Next, I stood at the campsite and got my camp wanted! 2 film cracks in a day. Not bad ... * Balla balla * And there I met a Swede who did not know what's Met. Since I had a 10 liter container there, I had to show him the OK. He found his tent and killed not croak and I had left my tent on my own and still some mattress next to my air mattress, so I asked him, sleep the night in my tent. What a strange day ... In retrospect, I have
then found out several things that would fill gaps in my memory. Luckily nothing bad or incredibly embarrassing. : D
But no matter. We get to Friday.
After I really started the day with coffee times and I spent the nice Englishman Steve at the breakfast as a second coffee, because we got along so well at breakfast, I have my lunch then looked Danko Jones. Very cool band! Have me completely convinced. The rock, which kick ass and do not require large Killefit in song writing. Just straighter rock and roll. The singer, so Danko himself, has made announcements and also very funny right after the first few songs about wondering what they were doing there at all, since they are no metal band, yes. But he then also has extra studded bracelets purchased, which he has worn with pride. As a helicopter flew over the area, he said "Do not look at the helicopter. Look at ME! ". But all in a totally funny sound and with great charm. Very cool band.
were then 2 hours later at some point Nevermore, which were very cool. The second guitarist was ill and was replaced by a very confident Jag Panzer guitarist. Have directly followed on the next stage then played Opeth, which meant for me in the package of course a revelation. : D And
evening I've seen then D'espairs Ray, which I've got all the time. A great band! At this point, again thanks to [info] purple_velvet_ , who had lent me the new disc so I could prepare myself for the gig. What a great album! And the show was great too! The band played great and it just was only joking. They played a lot of [coll: set] of course, but also at least 2 songs from Born.
Well, at least this was my Friday, I can then also rather have alcohol-free finish, because I really had enough of Thursday.
Saturday we played with our Wacken cover band Victims of Madness, by 12 clock. I had not played really warm and then get right muscles! Well, what the heck. The gig was great, although I this time only have one song played. But's "Can I play with madness" was from Iron Maiden, which are always my gods yes. With bath from Osyris and from Seeb Orden Ogan. Very good version! In this volume we discuss always new for every show, who plays, who ripped off which songs and which songs we cover at all. In most cases,'s classic. And we are always 10-15 people per song and then a "dream cast" composed, that is changing constantly, the musicians on stage. Therefore, only one song. Here are some pictures from the gig:

Below are pictures of me. :) The rest of Saturday

At noon I'm at a buddy spent at the campsite and then in our camp. I never imagined then miss Fear Factory, Morbid Angel, Gamma Gay and Arch Enemy. But what the heck. I always wanted to see only Emperor, Saturday. Before that, I myself have the most technologically savvy atheist one who have very impressive geballert their complex stuff into the audience, although they have been about 15 years, almost did.
Emperor were then be incredible! In the setting sun was the intro of the classic "In the nightside eclipse". When she still "Into the infinity of thoughts" sang that on the album containing comes right after, everything was out. That was awesome. I had goose bumps. And the gig was great. men
Into the infinity of thoughts
Thus spake the night spirit
An Elegy of Icaros
The Loss and Curse of Reverence
Curse you all: Rough setlist!
I am the black wizards
In the wordless chamber
Inno A Satana

that was basically the set list. So very awesome. Saturday is then a few beers and mead died away loose and the trip home was Sunday made very quickly in 4 hours. Very cool.

the Dong Open Air, incidentally, was actually a success. Super bands, nice and easy music and great fans who have left for each super band, not a big loss, everything went more or less Plan, only sun and no rain, everything that is great! : D And
's otherwise I'm fine. On 25
and 26 then the Up From The Ground Festival is attended with Morbid Angel, Dismember, Obituary, Suffocation, Gorefest, God Dethroned, Wintersun, Endstille and and and.
Yeah! : D
